Every Serica House piece is created to bring beauty into everyday moments — from a quiet morning at home to a special evening out. We draw inspiration from nature, traditional artistry, and the timeless elegance of silk itself.
Flowing silhouettes, thoughtful details, and carefully selected prints allow each garment to feel feminine, effortless, and distinctive. Rather than chasing trends, we focus on creating pieces that remain beautiful season after season.
Because true luxury is not about excess. It is about feeling comfortable, confident, and completely yourself.
From Guangxi to New York, and Back to Silk
Serica House began with a journey between two very different places.
Our founder was born in Guangxi, China, a region with a centuries-old tradition of sericulture and one of the world’s most important centers for mulberry silk production. Growing up close to the source, silk was never simply a luxury material—it was part of the landscape, craftsmanship, and everyday life of the region.
Years later, she moved to the United States, built a career in New York, and made her home in New York. But living thousands of miles away gave her a new appreciation for something she had grown up around: truly beautiful silk, made close to where the mulberry trees are cultivated and silkworms are raised.
That connection became the inspiration for Serica House.
Rather than building a conventional fashion supply chain with layers of distributors and inventory, we work close to the source. Our silk pieces are made in small batches, bringing the craftsmanship of southern China to customers around the world.
This direct-from-origin approach allows us to remain a small, thoughtful boutique—producing fewer pieces, avoiding unnecessary overproduction, and focusing on the quality of the silk, the details of the garment, and the people who make it.
